In many countries, gender studies, equality policies, and academic freedom are increasingly coming under pressure. This conference addresses current authoritarian dynamics that manifest in anti-equality rhetoric, language policy interventions, and political campaigns against diversity and critical research. With an interdisciplinary focus, we will discuss the impact of these developments on academia and society.
